Overview
AI is everywhere these days—whether it’s creating artwork, composing music, or writing stories. But what exactly is generative AI, and how does it work? More importantly, how can we use it in ways that are creative, ethical, and informed?
In this lively and interactive two-hour lecture, we’ll demystify generative AI and explore its real-world applications. Together, we’ll uncover:
• What generative AI is and how it’s transforming industries.
• The basics of how generative AI works—explained in plain language.
• How AI generates text, images, and audio, with live demonstrations.
• The potential benefits of AI tools for everyday life, lifelong learning, and creative projects.
The ethical and social challenges AI presents, such as misinformation, bias, and privacy concerns.
No prior experience with AI? No problem! With an information expert guiding the way, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss examples, and reflect on how this cutting-edge technology might shape your world.
By the end, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of generative AI and practical tips for engaging with it wisely and confidently.
