Refund Policy

Refund Policy for the Seventh International Conference on Philosophy and Meaning in Life

Refunds for conference fees are issued for cancellations which are made up to 48 hours before the start of the conference on June 25, 2025.

· For cancellations received before May 15, 2025, a full (100%) refund will be issued.

· For cancellations received between May 15, 2025 and 48 hours before the start of the conference, an eighty percent (80%) refund will be issued.

Refunds must be requested of the local conference organizer in writing by e-mail or surface mail. All refund requests must be made by the conference attendee or credit card holder.

Refund requests must include the name of the credit card holder, attendee and transaction number. Please do not include your credit card number in any refund requests. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment. Please allow 28 days for processing.

Carleton University reserves the right to cancel events at its sole discretion. Carleton University will process refunds for cancelled events within 28 days. Carleton University is not responsible for the timeframe within which the payment card issuing bank refunds the money to your card.

Refunds requested due to a change in event programming are at the discretion of the University.
