The Canadian section of the American Oil Chemists Society is organizing the lipids and proteins conference on September 25 – 27, 2024 at the Ottawa Delta Centre, Hotel. The meeting is an opportunity for members of the section, students, and the scientific community to highlight new research and technological developments in lipids, proteins, and co-products. There will be an emphasis on sustainability, and green technologies, as well as innovative and integrated approaches for the production and analysis of lipids, proteins, foods, value added products, and bioactive compounds.

The conference aims for a multidisciplinary approach to gather excellent works from scholars at universities, government, and industry. Additionally, we invite young researchers and students to present or attend the meeting for a better understanding of the current aspects and trends in lipids, proteins, and co-products all of which can offer, economic, environmental and health benefits.
